My FIL passed away there and they “lost” his ring he had on his finger after documenting that it was there on a form when he died. This ring meant so much to my husband and it has now been “lost” which I think someone knew how much it was worth and stole it. Now they won’t return my emails regarding this. Time for legal action

Brighton has a small town feel – and Riverdale Post Acute captures exactly that in a nursing home. The receptionist was very kind and welcoming and the nursing staff was smiling when I walked in. The residents were clean and well cared for. I was impressed with how the team moved about the building and were caring for their residents in a respectful manner. I would absolutely recommend brining your family members and friends to Riverdale Post Acute.

The Riverdale staff is not only friendly, caring and dedicated to giving great care to the residentswho live there, they are quick to respond to emergencies involving others. While there, I experienced a heart event that made my heart stop, I collapsed, unconscious and my head didn’t hit the floor. I was caught and eased down by staff who recognized something was wrong right away. The Respiratory Therapist immediately assessed the situation starting CPR after confirming pulselessness. They placed an AED, called 911, and continued until the Paramedics arrived. Their HR Lady was so kind while informing my family by not scaring them but keeping them calm as she delivered the news. The team there is amazing and I’m proof they can and do save lives. So even as a visitor, I know that not only are my loved ones in great hands, everyone is cared for that visits there. THANK YOU TEAM RIVERDALE!

I cannot say enough great things about this post acute care facility. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how incredibly clean and well-organized everything was. The rooms, common areas, and even the smallest details were spotless and thoughtfully maintained. It truly gave us peace of mind knowing our loved one was in such a safe and hygienic environment. What stood out even more was the exceptional care provided by the staff. Every nurse, therapist, and team member we encountered was professional, compassionate, and attentive. They took the time to answer questions, explain treatment plans, and ensure our family member felt comfortable and supported every step of the way. The level of organization in communication and daily routines was also remarkable. Everything ran smoothly, and it was clear that the team works together seamlessly to provide the best possible care. We are so grateful for the kindness and dedication shown here. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for high-quality post acute care.

My loved one has lived at this care facility for 15 years, and he truly calls it his home. As his guardian, I cannot imagine him being anywhere else. Every interaction I’ve had with staff over the years has been positive. I’ve worked with several staff members, and each one has been compassionate, caring, and genuinely dedicated to making a difference. They consistently go above and beyond to ensure safety and quality of care, and they have always been willing to work collaboratively with me throughout the years. My loved one cannot imagine being anywhere else, and this facility has provided not just care, but a true sense of home.

Wonderful Experience I’ve been extremely impressed with this nursing home. The team is friendly, patient, and truly dedicated to their residents. The environment is clean, comfortable, and very well managed. My loved one receives great care, and I have complete peace of mind. I couldn’t ask for better!

The amount of care and compassion in this nursing team is by far the best!! They are on top of the well being of their residents. My mother has been well taken care of during her stay. The CNAs are wonderful and pleasant. I recommend this place for quality of care!!!!♥️♥️♥️

1 is over rating this place! I’m sure there might be some good employees there but I would never send a family member here! Someone I love dearly is here and I cried the whole time bI was here! He was full of urine and wasn’t his self at all! The other resident’s were in the same situations and some worse! They walked around like zombies and I felt in my heart that something was seriously wrong! Beware ! Do not send your relatives hear! If you truly love them DONT! It’s heart Breaking!

This is such a great facility. The staff is amazing and so friendly. The CNA Alison was especially helpful and so kind, but all the nursing staff was so awesome.

We are looking for a long term placement for a loved one. Riverdale had a 3 star rating, lower than what I wanted, but was conveniently located, so I was hopeful. We did an impromptu visit. So disappointed at the low level of upkeep on the exterior. Multiple standing dead trees, trash piled along the covered walk way to the entrance, stained, dirty concrete, a front door that did not close completely. In the foyer, many stacked boxes, so depressing. Even if many of the residents are room bound, visitors see all of this, which is NOT conducive to wanting to visit which has a direct impact to the residents. The message this gives to staff regarding attention to detail. is negative. This facility should be a jewel in Brighton….and it is far from that. Who operates a facility at this low level for their hometown? If you are on the board, you need to get this place shaped up and an asset for the people/families of Brighton. An administrator who accepts this low level, needs to be replaced. Vinyl everything, fake flowers, smiling pics of CNA’s in the entry does not make up for what is a deteriorating facility. Beyond disappointing for Brighton.

This place is literally falling apart and is not safe for human habitation. The fact that it remains open just shows the greed and irresponsibility of the owners. The conditions are unsafe and unsanitary, for both residents and staff. Shame on the owners and management of the facility.

This place does NOT answer the phones at all. We cannot get a hold of our loved one in this facility AT ALL. Unless we drive for 3 hours to go walk into the facility and then get told that he can’t leave without a doctors order. How the heck are we supposed to get an order ORDERED if we can’t get a hold of anyone??? We had to wait for HOURS after driving up there finally to go get him for the holidays and they said he can’t leave unless there is an order. Nobody answers. This place is trash, and is more like a prison than any care facility ive ever seen. Crazy.
